Color Coded Nature Walks

Color Coded Nature WalksThis colorful scavenger hunt can also be modified to fit your child’s age. Instead of using colors as the guide for things to find you could use letters of the alphabet for each of the little cups and children could look for things beginning with each specified letter. Or you could make it even harder and have them look for things native to your area–like pinecones, dogwood, fireweed, etc. for things found around Anchorage.

After it’s over close up the painted container to save your treasures or empty it to use another time.
