Spy Alley

Spy AlleyDid you have a nice holiday? We’ve had a great week with friends, family and way too much food but one of my favorite things is this new game we got.

Spy Alley lets up to six players assume secret identities and the object is to be the last spy standing or to be the first spy reach your nation’s embassy with all your spy gear in tact.

It’s kind of a bluffing game because you’re trying to keep other players from guessing your identity but it has elements of Monopoly because you go around and around the board buying up your spy gear but it requires a bit of strategy while it promotes good conversation, making it fun as a family or party game.

Lillian (age 6) has a bit of trouble with the strategy so it’s not the easiest thing for small children but for the rest it’s been terrific. We’ve been playing it most of the week and I think I’ve just about perfected my authentic Secret Agent accent.

So if you’re aching to be Super Spy I’d suggest this–plus it’s much cheaper than an Aston Martin.
